Theresa ‘TK’ Ghiloni (she/her)
Creative Producer & Project Manager
About Me
Have a fun idea? Let’s chat! I’m the kind of person who dives in and gets things done. I love crafting the perfect spreadsheet and have a lifelong passion for storytelling. Helping others turn their dreams into reality is my joy, and I’m eager to hear about your next project.
My career path has been uniquely winding. As a kid, I interviewed family members with a hairbrush, volunteered for the school newspaper, and co-edited my high school yearbook with my best friend, channeling my inner April O’Neil. I initially pursued journalism in college but soon discovered that visuals can add incredible depth to storytelling. So, I switched my major to Film, Video & Media Studies and secured an internship at a local cable access station to immerse myself in video production.
I have learned a few things since I committed myself to a life in media making. For example: I've learned that I love to stay behind the scenes, deeply contemplating the nitty gritty details, removing roadblocks ahead of time so others can focus on their craft. I take pride in being a jack-of-all-trades and can be occasionally caught behind the lens or at the editing bay. This broad skill set makes me an effective and empathetic Producer and Project Manager, as I understand each contributor’s role inside and out.
Planning isn't just a skill for me; it's a lifestyle. I honed my ability to manage organized chaos while working in restaurants and hospitality during gaps in production gigs. Over time, I've held more than 25 diverse job positions, from crime-and-courts reporting to character acting in children’s performances. Now, I’m solely focusing on roles in which I can support others accomplishing their creative goals and ambitions.
It may sound cliché, but I genuinely love exceeding expectations and delivering top-notch work. There’s nothing more satisfying than surpassing the anticipated and achieving excellence. Even better if it can be ahead of schedule and under budget.
Thanks for considering me as your next team member. Can’t wait to see what we can make together.
